Bansley & Kiener for years had audited the books of Washington Federal Bank for Savings, which failed with no warning in late 2017 shortly after the CEO committed suicide. The cause of the failure remains a mystery.


The auditor of the Bridgeport bank that failed suddenly and mysteriously in late 2017 shortly after the CEO committed suicide is refusing to play ball with federal bank regulators probing the cause of the failure.
