Bally's buys Trib's Freedom Center printing plant as future casino

Rhode Island-based casino operator Bally's completed its $200 million purchase of the Freedom Center printing plant Friday from Dallas-based Nexstar Media Group, the Chicago Tribune reports, sealing the deal for the site of its planned River North casino.


Bally’s Chair Soo Kim confirmed the acquisition to the Chicago Tribune, a Nexstar Media Group property, on Friday evening. Bally's confirmed the move in a news release Monday morning.
