Lawrence Rosen is a civil litigator with considerable first-chair experience in federal and state jury, bench, and arbitration trials, and in appellate cases. His litigation practice is extensive, from complex business litigation, employment discrimination (e.g. race, sex, religion), sexual harassment claims, securities claims representing primarily brokers and investors, commercial and corporate claims, estate and trust disputes, anti-trust claims, futures and commodity litigation, insurance coverage disputes, class action claims, construction claims representing owners and contractors and family law including Hague Convention Child Abduction cases. More recently, Mr. Rosen also has been an assistant special prosecutor for the State of Illinois.
Mr. Rosen attended Indiana University, receiving a B.A. in Forensics, and attended the John Marshall Law School, graduating first in his class and serving on the law review. Mr. Rosen began his career at Mayer, Brown and Platt and then was a partner at a boutique securities and construction litigation firm for seventeen years before joining O’Rourke.
